The typical products of the agriculture of Guarene

On the slopes of the hill of Guarene the main cultivations are the vine and the fruit trees. Excellent wines come from the sunny vineyards - the refined and scented Roero Arneis, the noble Nebbiolo, the Dolcetto and the vigorous Barbera - and there are many varieties of fruit, among which the Madernassa Pear stands out.

In the plain of the "Frazione" (Village) Vaccheria horticulture predominates: the cultivation of tomatoes, peppers, garlic and the delicious thistles - the main ingredients of the traditional "Bagna Caoda" - is well-known.
